A Day In Dig Nation - The Flying Carpet Theatre

Animation + Music + Live Human Antics = DIG.

Rex aims his remote control with astonishing precision. He’s mastered every video game there is. He has microwavable foods at the ready.  However, all of Rex’s training cannot prepare him for what awaits: an actual conversation with another living person… Follow Rex through an evening of media-drenched dreams wherein he becomes a rock star, a post-apocalyptic scientist, a superhero, a martial arts expert, a game-show contestant, and other absurdist manifestations of the lives he’d rather be living.

Rex awakes to find himself stuck in the same old daily grind with his visions of a different existence locked behind the television screen.  But today is different. He will be given a once-in-a-lifetime chance to remember that the world is forever churning outside his digital bubble.

“McQuilken takes charge of multiple technologies to create a single, integrated stage-work… In a very real sense, Dig Nation is the future of theatre… Don’t miss this show.” – The Seattle Weekly
