Face Off - Ntando Cele

Face Off, asks questions about the roles we play, the roles we are put into and masks we choose to wear. Ntando Cele is a South African whose life experience has been formed and dominated by race. “I have experienced that my skin color determines a lot of superficial first impressions of who I am. At times, it is uncomfortable and feels claustrophobic”.

This political theatre embraces everybody; a splash of ‘stand up comedy with heart’. The musical score and songs of ‘Face Off’ were developed together with Simon Ho, a Swiss musician and composer who also performs live.
